Sanyo Adopts Forte's Cynthesizer for Design of Advanced Consumer Multimedia Devices

Cynthesizer Used for Behavioral Synthesis of SystemC Algorithms

San Jose, Calif. – August 25, 2004 – Forte Design Systems announced today that Sanyo Electric Co., LTD has adopted Forte's SystemC behavioral synthesis product, Cynthesizer, for the implementation of its high-performance designs for multimedia and other consumer semiconductor devices. This announcement extends Forte's lead in the behavioral synthesis market for consumer electronics.
