DAN GANOUSIS
CEO
With more than 30 years of experience, Dan assumed the CEO position at Arithmatica in May 2007. Dan previously was the CEO of AccelChip, an EDA startup that produced the first synthesis tool of the MATLAB language for automatically mapping DSP algorithms into FPGAs. AccelChip was acquired by Xilinx in January of 2006. Dan also held executive positions at EDA startups Innoveda (Viewlogic) and VeriBest (Intergraph Electronics). Dan began his EDA career at Mentor Graphics where he established and directed the company's ASIC design and consulting services business.
An IC design engineer by trade, the first 15 years of his career Dan worked on microprocessor and ASIC designs at Zilog, NCR Microelectronics, Digital Equipment Corporation and Solbourne Computer. Dan holds a BSEE degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
NICK ATKINSON
VP OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
Nick joined Arithmatica in 2002 after achieving a first class degree in computer science at the University of Warwick, UK. Nick joined Arithmatica as a Member of Technical Staff and worked in both the design services team and the software development team before taking the position of VP of Product Development, where he has managed the development, launch and support of Arithmatica's CellMath suite of tools and IP.
DR. PETER MEULEMANS
DIRECTOR OF CONSULTING AND DESIGN SERVICES
Peter started at Arithmatica in 1999 while working on his PhD in digital signal and image processing at the University of Warwick, UK. After completing his PhD in 2001, he joined as a full time member of the technical staff and was involved in the R&D of Arithmatica's core technical innovations. Peter has extensive expertise in datapath design, ASIC and FPGA synthesis methodology and formal verification techniques, as well as experience in customer relations and technical project management.
BIHRU TSAI
DIRECTOR OF SALES
Bihru joined Arithmatica in September 2007 with more than 18 years of experience in the EDA industry. Bihru was most recently a Senior Sales Technical Leader at Cadence Design Systems. Bihru previously held management and FAE positions at Ikos, Zycad and Daisy/Cadnetix. Bihru holds a BSEE degree from Iowa State University in Ames, IA.
PETER JOHNSON
VP OF FINANCE
Peter came to Arithmatica in 2001 with more than 10 years of experience at the director level in the financial services and technology industries. After serving as Finance Director at Special Risk Services Ltd. and Archer Managing Agents Ltd., he co-founded and managed iwix.net, a venture-backed online insurance distribution business at which he was responsible for software development in addition to finance and general management. He has also worked as a financial consultant at other early-stage technology companies.
